Hello, I’m Marilyn Rivera. I’m an undergraduate student at City College currently, studying sociology for my degree. I signed up for a language and literacy-focused FIQWS class during my first semester here. Throughout the course of the semester, we produced a variety of papers, which came together in a portfolio. All of my works are collected on this website. It accurately reflects my growth as a growing writer. On my mom’s side I am half Ecuadorian, on my dad’s side I am half Puerto Rican. My primary language is Spanish, and my second language is English. I’m glad that I enrolled in this course since it helped me get better at writing and reading.
